Sean Birdsong is a former athlete who deeply understands the transformative impact of mentorship on the next generation. After graduating from Bonner Springs High School in Kansas, Sean earned basketball scholarships to Highland Community College and NCAA II Lincoln University, where he excelled both on and off the court. He went on to play professionally in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and the Premier Basketball League (PBL). Transitioning from his playing career, Sean became a skilled development coach in the NBA circuit, working with the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Legends, and the NBA G-League Combine. He also served as an assistant coach for two seasons at Blue Valley North High School in Kansas. Beyond the basketball court, Sean has made significant contributions in the behavioral healthcare system and the high school education system, assisting students with academic and behavioral challenges. Sean holds a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Mid America Nazarene University. His diverse background in sports, education, and behavioral health uniquely positions him to lead American Ballers in its mission to enhance the lives of youth through comprehensive educational and life skills programs.
